The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is designed for motivated and responsible young individuals who are interested in developing leadership skills, gaining hands-on experience working with children, and preparing for future roles as camp counselors. This program provides an opportunity to learn from experienced staff, assist in camp activities, and build valuable teamwork and communication skills.

Due to increased interest, we are formalizing a structured selection process to ensure we provide the best experience for both our CITs and our campers. Applicants will go through an application, interview, and recommendation process before being selected.

Application Submission

Interested candidates must complete a CIT application, providing details about their experience, interests, and reasons for applying.

Registration will close April 16th and interviews will be conducted the following week.

1) Teacher Recommendation

Applicants must submit a recommendation from a teacher or school staff member who can speak to their responsibility, leadership potential, and ability to work with children during registration.

2) Interview Process

Selected applicants will be invited to an interview with camp leadership to discuss their interest in the program, strengths, and what they hope to gain from the experience.

3) Final Selection & Notification

After reviewing applications, recommendations, and interviews, selected CITs will be notified if they are accepted into the program.
